The Interactive Component Modelling System (ICMS) is a PC-based product that allows for the rapid building and linking of models. While developed for catchment modelling, it has generic application to other domains and supports spatial and temporal modelling. Libraries of model modules are provided to assist users build their own models. It is a great prototyping tool and is specifically designed for people who are not programmers but can write a little code.
