About Cmss |
||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
CMSS is a tool for catchment managers and planners to examine the impact of policies, especially changes in land use and/or land management practices, on water quality in catchments. It does this by predicting average annual loads of pollutants, usually Total Phosphorus and Total Nitrogen. WinCMSS (the Windows version of CMSS) is complemented by two other products: the Nutrient Generation Rate Data Book and NEXSYS, an expert system for predicting nutrient generation rates from different land uses under a range of climates and topography.
